A New Medium

Watching the world of Compact Discs slowly exit the realm of listenable media is a strange sensation. Almost tingly. Gone are the days of my excitement to run to a CD store, dash towards the "new release" section, and gobble up the plastic-ey goodness.
Acquiring an album today is as simple as a few keystrokes, tearing off a piece of one's soul, and infiltrating the ever-expansive world of hard drive space.
Perhaps the next medium is some form of bio-music, where our favorite songs are stored in a digital mitochondria? Perhaps I inspired the next Wachowski Brothers film?
