Psychostick's Appearance at HRH Metal has been cancelled.

You ever wake up one morning, get out of bed, stumble over some poorly placed caltrops, and fall into a pool of sulfuric acid? Whelp, we just had one of those days, and on top of all of that, I ran out of coffee creamer. UGH.

We here at Psychostick had this grand plan, lemme tell ya. After we were confirmed for HRH Metal, we started plotting to make a full-blown European tour out of it. We had another awesome band lined up to go with us, some clever routing, shenanigans, AND actually hopping over to mainland Europe to play consecutive shows for the first time!

Then, CALTROPS. SULFIRIC ACID.

Not a good time.

Here's the funny-but-not-so-funny thing about the music business - it moves slowly. Very slowly. Unless there are multiplatinum acts involved, the business slows to a drunken crawl. Our mainland European plans "somehow fell apart." Then the UK only thing started to "fall apart." Then we had to examine the practicality of the costs involved getting overseas to play one show, albeit an awesome festival show.

There's actually quite a bit more to this story, but I have to remain "professional" and trust that you guys are understanding of the situation. That's why we love you. You're our people. YOU GET US.

We would have put ourselves in a very dire situation if we decided to take the plunge and head overseas. Rather than do that, we're going to continue to write and create more Psychostick stuff that (hopefully) the entire world can enjoy/loathe.

The good news is that the fine folks over at HRH Metal are completely understanding of the situation and have been amazing. Special thanks to them for not setting our band on fire and dancing some ridiculous nude dance that's very uncomfortable to watch. Thank you.

To everyone looking forward to our appearance at HRH Metal: We are sorry. SO SORRY. We couldn't be sorrier. The intensity of our apologies burns hotter than a thousand suns. Please accept the burning, life-giving warmth of our apologies.

From all of us here at Psychostick, thank you for your support and your understanding.

Why won't Nickelback take us on tour?
